Case Studies:

Sheffield BSF Programme

Sheffield City Council is a Pathfinder Authority leading the way on the Government’s BSF Programme. This aims to rebuild or renew every one of England’s secondary schools over the next 15 years. The programme integrates the provision of ICT for the very first time and looks to create inspirational learning environments for children and young people.

Financial close was achieved at the end of July 2007. Sheffield City Council has contracted with Sheffield LEP (Local Education Partnership) to deliver the BSF Programme in the city, which is due for completion in 2013. Visit the Sheffield BSF website for more information.

Silverdale, one of the highest performing schools in Sheffield, plus Newfield and Talbot SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools were completed and opened as part of Phase 1 of BSF funding, in January 2009.

As part of the BSF Programme, MAMG is contracted by Sheffield LEP to provide a full range of SPV and LEP management services.
